Effects: Contrast

With this effect, you can adjust the contrast and the brightness of the image.

Contrast:

Let's you specify the increase or decrease of the contrast. Values greater than 0 increase contrast. If 0 is selected, there is no change.

Brightness:

As a change in contrast may affect the brightness, this effect also contains a routine to adjust the brightness. Use the Effect Brightness for a more detailed adjustment of the brightness.
You can specify the increase or decrease of the brightness. Values greater than 0 increase the brightness. If 0 is selected, there is no change, except for the changes done by adjusting the contrast.

All Colors:

Adjusts contrast and brightness for the color and not just one of its RGB components. This is usually what you want.

Red:

if selected, only the red component will be adjusted

Green:

if selected, only the green component will be adjusted

Blue:

if selected, only the blue component will be adjusted
